In order to consolidate the curricula of #scientific_research among students at Muscat University and create creative job opportunities, fourth-year students specializing in chemical engineering, visited the laboratories of Wakud Oman to get a closer look at its business environment in the field of #biodiesel and link graduation projects to the company’s business and the #labormarket.
The visit was supervised by Dr. Maan Hayyan dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Muscat University, and they were received by Mr. Maher Al Habsi, Executive Director of the company. Wakud is the first and only Omani company in the production of biofuel in Oman, which is produced from cooking oil waste.
