Programme Overview

The BSc in Logistics with Supply Chain Management is one of the few logistics degrees which combines technological knowledge with business and management in order to meet the needs of the logistics industry. Upon successful completion of the programme, students earn a degree from Muscat University.

The BSc in Logistics with Supply Chain Management aims to:

      Career Opportunities

      The demand for graduates in logistics and supply chain management is huge, both globally and in Oman! Career opportunities exist in third party logistics providers, manufacturers, government and consultancy. Job roles include logistics analytics, warehouse managers, supply chain planner.

      Admissions Requirements

      Applicants will typically need one of the following qualifications (or international equivalent (typically high school leaving certificate) recognised by Ministry of Education) for admission to the programme:

      • A Level: Minimum grades C,C,C in any three A Level subjects, in addition to 2 GCSE/IGCSE  subjects (minimum grade C). Maths must  be one of the subjects taken at GCSE/IGCSE (minimum grade C) or A Levels (minimum grade C).
      • IB: Minimum 28 points  with  scores of not less than 5,4,4 in three subjects at Higher Level, in addition to Maths at Standard Level(minimum grade 5) or Higher Level (minimum grade 4).
      • General Education Diploma or equivalent: Minimum 65% overall, with 65% in Maths and English. Students will need to complete the Muscat University Foundation Programme for entry into the UG programme.

          All applicants will be required to provide evidence of a recognised English language qualification, which include the following

          • GCSE English language: Minimum grade C
          • IB English language: Minimum score of 5 in English at Standard level or 4 at Higher Level
          • Muscat University Foundation Programme (MUFP): Minimum score of 50% in the Academic Reading and Writing module, and Academic Listening and Speaking module or its equivalent modules in other institutions’ Foundation Year.
          • IELTS: Minimum of 6.0 overall
          • TOEFL: Minimum of 78 overall
