About

Dr. Amer Ali got his Ph.D in 2004, his research was about essential oil extraction. Dr. Amer combines academic and industrial experiences, with animmense experience in process design and process control, accumulated throughout 8 years of working as process engineer. He has been awarded Appreciation Award from Abu Dhabi Polytechnic for outstanding performance, 2016, and Student’s Choice Award as a Best Lecturer in Chemical Engineering Department/Curtin University of Technology, 2006. Currently, Dr. Amer teaches Process and Product Design, Reaction Engineering, and Process Design in Muscat University.

  • Biodiesel production development, essential oil extraction by microwave, metal hydride alloys as hydrogen storage media for fuel cell, air pollution control, heat transfer enhancement
