Biography
Dr. Nada Elbarkouky is a Lecturer in Logistics and Transport at Muscat University with over 18 years of academic and industry experience. She holds dual PhDs, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE), and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA, UK).
She has served as advisor to five Egyptian Ministers of Transport, contributing to national logistics and digital transformation strategies. Internationally, she sits on the UTSG committee, where she led Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and reviewed research for the 2024 conference, held in the UK. At the University of Huddersfield (UK), she was recognised for outstanding performance in connecting academia with practice in MSc Supply Chain and Logistics programmes. She also co-founded the Business Information Systems specialization and acted as BIS programme director at the British University in Egypt. Her research explores supply chain disruption, digital transformation technologies, and innovation in logistics, with a particular interest in resilience and sustainable systems.
