Biography
An accomplished Management Educator with a proven track record in higher education at the graduate university level. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated success in assuring student achievement. His key strengths lie in his ability to conceive and build programs from the ground up. He has a strong background in grant writing and administration, project and program management, as well as staff development and empowerment.
These competencies have enabled him to create and manage innovative educational initiatives that have had a lasting impact. He also has vast expertise in designing and implementing special programs to meet the needs of diverse student populations. An excellent communicator with remarkable planning, organizational, and negotiating skills, he has demonstrated the ability to lead, build consensus, define clear objectives, and accomplish measurable results. Jacob’s primary research lies at the intersection of supply chain management and logistics. He focuses on developing innovative solutions to complex problems in supply chain logistics, with a specific emphasis on modeling and optimization techniques.
His work aims to enhance our understanding of supply chain dynamics, particularly in contexts that involve uncertainty, risk, and interactions among various components. His research also focuses on lean supply chains, supply chain performance, Sustainability and Green Logistics supply chain. His commitment to research and teaching, along with his desire to see students thrive, has consistently contributed to their success in higher education.
