Biography
Dr. Istiaq Jamil Siddique is a Lecturer at Muscat University, Oman, specializing in Waste-to-Energy and Microwave Biomass Processing. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University, Malaysia, where he developed microwave-based biomass conversion systems. With over a decade of teaching experience, he has taught a wide range of subjects including thermofluids, mechatronics, automobiles, and control engineering. His research expertise spans thermochemical reactor design, CFD modeling of multiphysics problems, and sustainable energy technologies. Dr. Siddique has published extensively in high-impact Q1 journals, secured research grants, and supervised numerous student projects. He also holds certifications in CAD and additive manufacturing and has played key roles in academic program development and professional training. Beyond academia, he is actively involved in seminars, workshops, and community initiatives, reflecting his commitment to both research excellence and student development.
