The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) is committed to develop engineering talents and technology specialists for the current vibrant industry and the community. We strive to prepare graduates who can engineer solutions that are mindful of the global, economic, environmental, and societal impacts. FET team is composed of highly engaged individuals with a dedication to student success, research excellence, and innovative engineering solutions. We are strongly devoted to preparing successful graduates with long-lasting careers in accordance with the current and future employer demands. 

In the era of 4IR, our society and industries require integrated solutions from engineering and technology to create value through state-of-the-art, efficient, and sustainable technologies. Therefore, our curriculum is specially designed to cover emerging areas of technology, innovation, and sustainability. Our mission is to provide high-quality learning experience for our students through our innovative activity-led learning approach, industrial guest lectures, real-life projects, experiments and access to industry-standard units, equipment packages, and computer programs. 

The Faculty of Transport and Logistics

The Faculty of Transport and Logistics is unique in Oman. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of logistics, transport and supply chain management which are key components of the Oman 2040 vision and strategy. Our evolving research capability has resulted in both Research Council and industry funded projects related to the emerging needs of businesses in Oman and our researchers collaborate with others, both in Oman and globally.

 Our approach to teaching and learning is student-centred. Support is available for students to engage effectively in the learning opportunities we offer through first-class learning facilities on campus and the online library and Virtual Learning Environment. Our undergraduate programmes offer year-long placement opportunities with key logistics and transport players in Oman enabling students to have quality work experience to assist them in their pursuit of a rewarding career upon graduation.

Faculty of Business & Management

The young and vibrant Faculty of Business and Management (soon to become Muscat Business School) prides itself of being a provider of world-class programmes in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Management, and Entrepreneurship hence supporting the Oman Vision 2040 as well as the national priorities. Through its quality academic, industrial, and professional bodies partnerships, the faculty offers a unique student experience that stimulates professional, practical, and personal development and life-long learning.

Employability is at the core of our philosophy to ensure vibrant, highly skilled, and agile graduates who are equipped to meet the increasing and challenging demand of both local and international job markets. Through its local and collaborative capacity, the Faculty of Business and Management ensures research-led teaching across its programmes combined with professional bodies engagements. The faculty takes advantage of the University’s state-of-the-art facilities and latest platforms for learning technologies and educational resources, offering an all-encompassing learning environment where the focus on the student and their support throughout the educational journey.
