Biography

Mr. Hamood Alhabsi is an experienced academic specializing in Business Studies, with more than 20 years of teaching and research experience in Oman’s higher education sector. He joined Muscat University in August 2024, where he continues to contribute to advancing business education. Previously, he served as a Lecturer in the Educational Studies Department at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Rustaq (2018–2021), and before that at Rustaq College of Applied Sciences (2012–2018), teaching a variety of business courses in the International Business Administration Department. From 2006 to 2012, he taught business management courses at Salalah College of Applied Sciences. Throughout his career, Mr. Alhabsi has been committed to fostering student learning, developing innovative curricula, and supporting the growth of Oman’s business education landscape. His expertise spans business administration, management, and research methods, preparing graduates to succeed in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.
