MSc Insurance and Risk Management
Why study this programme?
This programme aims to equip students with the necessary technical knowledge, skills and capacity for roles and processes in insurance and risk management. Sustaining financial stability remains a key remit of the insurance industry and this course will provide insights on the main functions of the insurance profession and the nature of insurance solutions for international and financial markets.

Admissions Requirements
- Applicants holding a BSc degree, either:
*Minimum of a “Good” undergraduate degree from an Omani institution, OR
*Minimum of a second-class UK honours degree or its equivalent. OR
*A degree below good or second-class Honours can be considered with minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
- Applicants holding an Advanced Diploma degree:
*A 2-year Diploma holder can be considered with minimum of 6 years relevant work experience, 3 training certificates and a no objection letter from the company. Subject to approval from Ministry of Higher Education Research and Innovation.
- English language requirement:
IELTS: Academic test – minimum overall score of 6.0
TOEFL: Internet-based test – minimum score of 78.
