Biography

Dr. Achraf Guidara is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Muscat University with over 15 years of academic experience across institutions in Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. His teaching and research focus on financial reporting, sustainability accounting, auditing, taxation, forensic accounting, and management accounting. He has published in leading international journals such as Emerald, Inderscience, Virtus Interpress, and Taylor & Francis, and serves as a reviewer for several reputable journals. In addition to six years of industry experience as a tax reviewer at Tunisia’s Ministry of Finance and as a senior accountant, Dr. Guidara has extensive expertise in teaching ACCA-aligned modules and contributes to ACCA accreditation of the BSc Accounting and Finance programme. He also supervises MSc students and coordinates the MSc Professional Accountancy, Auditing and Financial Management programme at Muscat University.
