Thesis title: “Robust Variational Bayesian Clustering for Underdetermined Speech Separation” The research focused on enhancing the separation of speech signals in reverberant environments through improved statistical models.

About:
Between Cairo University, the German University in Muscat and MU, I have spent more than 11 years teaching. The courses I taught were mainly in the engineering and mathematics disciplines, such as communications and signals for electrical engineers, information theory for IT students, and mathematics courses both pure and applied. Currently, I teach business analytics and quantitative methods in supply chain management in addition to mathematics for engineering students.
Besides my academic experience, I worked many years as a senior engineer and researcher in the field of automation, machine learning and signal processing. Additionally, I have been involved in various consultancy projects in Oman in engineering and project management.
