Bachelors

We are proud that some of the brightest young minds in the region have chosen Muscat University to guide their growth and futures. To join our ambitious cohort and gain access to our work experience programmes, you must meet the following requirements:

- High school certificate or equivalent in Oman or in the applicant’s own country.

- A minimum English language proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 6 for Transport & Logistics and Engineering & Technology. A minimum English language proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 for Business & Management.

- Successful completion of the Muscat University Foundation Programme.

Masters

We have welcomed ambitious professionals from several industries to hone their knowledge and craft their careers at Muscat University. To join our globally acclaimed postgraduate courses, you must meet the following requirements:

- An English-medium undergraduate degree from a recognised university with a second class honors level or above.

- A minimum English language proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 6.5.

Foundation Programme (FP)

Before entry to the Muscat University FP, students are normally required to have completed high school education or equivalent in Oman or in their own country. Evidence of completion in the form of a school-leaving certificate is expected to be enclosed with the enrolment form. Students must normally have a minimum English language proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 4.5 for entry to the GFP prior to joining the programme. Muscat University will assess the language proficiency of all students on arrival to facilitate class placement and appropriate tuition. Students will need to be approved by the Ministry of Education before their acceptance is confirmed by Muscat University.
