Overview
Muscat University is an ambitious academic organization founded by a group of esteemed leaders representing public and private sectors in Oman. They all have one common goal, namely, to create a university with strong, close and productive links with the business community locally and internationally. As Muscat University and its international partners successfully enter their third academic year, the concepts of practical education and internationalization pose new very exciting educational challenges that need to be professionally and systematically addressed. We believe that this timely and crucial conference is a great opportunity to reflect on these two critical concepts related to higher education and exchange ideas derived from participants’ rich experiences. This is a common agenda item for all Omani HEIs as well as for the Omani government education regulatory bodies.
