Muscat University hosted an Alumni Dinner on the evening of Monday 13th November at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Muscat to celebrate our partnership with both Aston and Cranfield Universities in the UK. Over 100 people attended this memorable event and they were addressed by Professor Yusra Mouzughi, Vice Chancellor of Muscat University, Professor Sir Peter Gregson, VC of Cranfield University and Professor Alec Cameron, VC of Aston University.

The University was represented by many of the members and board led by our Chairmen, Mr Khalil Al Khonji and Dr Juma Al Juma as well as students and members of staff from the various faculties and administrative functions.

The University was particularly delighted to welcome His Excellency Mr Hamish Cowell CMG, British Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman and his wife, Mrs Shadi Khan Kasmai Cowell to our landmark event.

The dinner was held to mark the contribution that Alumni from both Cranfield and Aston Universities have made to the development of Oman and the wider region and to mark the launch of very high quality Bachelors and Masters programmes at Muscat University that will now bring the delivery of that academic excellence to the country for the first time.
